We can use Scriptures from the Holy Bible as a prayer points and a model for our prayers. As we pray according to the Word of God, we can grow into the

likeness of Christ and fulfill God’s will in our lives.

Praying according to the Word of God also helps us to increase our time with God, which strengthens and prospers our fellowship with God.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” (2 Timothy 3:16,17)

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)
